BoLD Restaurant

The BoLD Restaurant and Bar in Breckenridge is on our top list! This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner – as the name mentions. We visited them during happy hour (2-6pm daily) and were impressed with the menu choices. B1G1 Appetizers and drinks, as well as other special menu choices. The drinks were amazing! We had the Raspberry/Lime/vodka/Soda mixer cocktail, but they feature many other cocktail options, beers, wines and sangria’s.

The meals

There are plenty of delicious appetizers to choose from. We chose the Mediterranean Nachos, Charcuterie board, lamb skewers and spanakopita. The nachos were fantastic, still warm and have tomatoes, olives, peppers, cheeses and other toppings on them. The Charcuterie board is a meat and cheese board, perfect for sitting down and enjoying your drink while snacking on the meats and cheeses. It’s served with a fancy cheese as well as a fig dip. The Lamb skewers were cooked to perfection and the spankopita was a crispy filo dish filled with spinach, feta and goat cheese. Our server was wonderful. We had a great time sitting and watching the sun setting behind the mountains! All the food was fresh and tasted amazing. We will definitely be back here and can only imagine what the rest of their menu tastes like!

Tiki Mana Island Grill

Recently opened, Tiki Mana Island Grill has some unique items if you’re in the mood for Island food. During happy hour 3-6pm daily, they offer B1G1 drinks and appetizers! They offer many island-themed drinks that are made to perfection and taste absolutely delicious. In the pictures below are Blue Hawaiian and Lava Flow. The appetizers are very unique and taste amazing as well. We recommend the Coconut Shrimp and Lava Wings. Tiki Mana is definitely a place to check out during happy hour, but their full menu offers even more island dining options for lunch and dinner.

Lost Cajun Restaurant

The Lost Cajun Restaurant is one of our top recommendations if you like gumbos, seafood and Louisiana style food. First, you get a sample tasting of almost each of their gumbos to try before deciding on what to order. Their menu selection is full of variety for everyone, from gumbos to jambalaya to meal baskets and kids meals. Everything was fresh and hot and our server was very genuine and checked in on us often without making us feel rushed or uncomfortable. In the images you can see the samples, a kids catfish basket, lobster bisque, seafood gumbo and their dessert beignet bites. The beignets are made to order and served hot! Additionally, the back patio is right on the river with some great views and privacy.

Luigi’s Pizzeria

If you’re in the mood for Pizza, Luigi’s Pizzeria offers many unique options for your taste buds. Choose from various pizza toppings, slices or whole pizzas. A 14 inch specialty pizza costs around $22 while an 18 inch is around $27. The pizzas are freshly made and taste delicious!  The atmosphere is comfortable with lots of art and large TV’s as well as an outdoor patio in the back with river view.

Bangkok Happy Bowl Thai Bistro and Sushi

Happy hour at the Bangkok Happy Bowl has some perks like the view of mountains on the patio, 2 for 1 appetizers and $8 rolls. However, you might want to ask about the price of specific drinks because the menu and happy hour drink section makes it unclear. We expected our drinks to be less than $5 for the beer and $8 for the cocktail. The shrimp tempura roll was very good and still warm! The cocktail was a special ginger-lime margarita and tasted pretty good. Overall we recommend this place, just check the prices with your waiter if you’re looking for specials!

Blue Stag Saloon

We visited the Blue Stag Saloon Restaurant for its convenient location right on main street. On the images you can see a corn dogs basket, bacon wrapped pretzels and hot wings. The pretzels were not really bacon wrapped and the cheese hardened before it got to our table, so that it’s not much of a dipping sauce. However, they did taste pretty good. The chicken wings were a bit on the dry/overcooked side and for hot – they were pretty hot! Corn dogs were enjoyed by the kids and were very fresh. Overall the food was alright, but honestly – nothing to brag about.

Peak of Asia

Peak Of Asia has some authentic Vietnamese food and a lot of drink options from beers to cocktails and wines. Breck can get chilly and their soups can definitely warm you up. The second image is a Won Ton soup appetizer, the third image is an egg noodle soup and the last one is a beef noodle soup.

Room for improvement

Their menu features images of some of the foods on the menu. So by the image of the egg noodle soup with shrimp and pork, the meal itself was somewhat disappointing. There were 3 pieces of shrimp (compared to many in the image) and the noodles in the image had lo mein type noodles but the soup itself had some very thin, almost crunchy noodles. Additionally, the pork was disappointingly dry and tasted odd. The beef soup on the other hand was better with nice rice noodles, fresh looking beef strips and a very tasty broth. The won ton soup was very delicious.
