The Ogden Dinosaur Park is THE place to be for anyone that loves dinosaurs and crystals! Featuring over 100 giant dinosaur sculptures outside as well as a dinosaur and gemstone/crystal museum inside, this place is sure to please!

Although there’s an outdoor park with over 100 huge dinosaur scultures, this is also a place with museums about paleontology, national history as well as gems and minerals! There’s something here for everyone.

What it's like

Let’s start with the Stewart Museum of Paleontology. This is a walkthrough museum but also available are educational events, tours and presentations by paleontologists to teach visitors about the prehistoric world and life, geology, minerology from the past. Here you can see many incredible displays of dinosaur skeletons, view replicas of prehistoric animal habitats, watch paleontologists do their work and even experience some interactive exhibits!

Then, there’s the alluring and inspiring gem and mineral museum, the Rudd Hall. Here you can find amazing, sparkling and very unique pieces of nature that are sure to provoke a love for the earth and its formations. From awe-inspiring crystals to unique stones and beautiful jewelry, these bright displays are thought provoking as they are numinous.

Outdoor Dinosaur Park

Let’s not forget one of the coolest parts of the Ogden Dinosaur Park – the Park! Featuring over 100 huge dinosaur sculptures and a dino themed play area, the outside park is so much fun for kids as well as adults! Take a walk and learn about the different dinosaurs that roamed Earth, see what they might have looked like and get a feel for how big they were!
