- There are many parking garages nearby for a fee
- Enjoy the city after and plan to take a stroll
- There are a few great restaurants in the building and gift shop upstairs
What it's like
Skydeck Chicago is a 3-in-1 attraction. At the Skydeck museum, you will see and learn about the origins of Chicago, experience a bit of the history and culture of Chicago. You’ll also see miniature skyscrapers and other amazing architecture of the city. There’s an area of “Taste of Chicago” where you’ll get a visual taste of the food. There’s also a train and urban playground that’s fun for kids. And much more!
Then you’ll can enjoy the awe-inspiring views from the upstairs observation deck and shocking Ledge windows, on top of the Willis Tower.
The Ledge
“The Ledge” features 5 all-glass balconies that are extended 4.3 feet from the building, 1353 feet or 103 stories above Chicago, giving you a breathtaking, panoramic view of the city.
The thrill of being on the Ledge is something that’s not easy to prepare for. The height is almost unimaginable. Even so, this experience IS all it’s pumped out to be. It’s worth every penny for the awe-inspiring and magnificent view, the pictures you can take and the rush from excitement as well as fear. This absolutely makes for an unforgetable experience!
